5 Rock Bands That Have Changed Lead Singers
Stone Temple Pilots, one of the most successful bands to come out of the '90s, announced today that it fired lead vocalist Scott Weiland. The group formed in 1986 and released its breakout debut album Core in 1992. The remaining members of the band released this statement today:
“Stone Temple Pilots have announced they have officially terminated Scott Weiland.” Meanwhile, Scott is scheduled to begin a tour with his backing band the Wildabouts in Flint, MI later this week.
