They're both music superstars who are newly single, so it's no wonder Selena Gomez and Katy Perry have a few things to talk to each other about. The singers were hiking last weekend in the Los Angeles area when superfan Nikki asked to take a photo with them. She then shared the pic with People.com and spilled on what it was like "running" into Selena and Katy. Nikki described Selena as the quiet one of the two while Katy was "goofy and extremely gracious."

"I wish I would have acted less like an 18-year-old fanatic and more like the mature 26-year-old I think I am," Nikki told People. "But it was a definite highlight of the day!"
