It's been almost four years since Selena Gomez released her debut Kiss & Tell and now she's gearing up for her fourth album. Teen Vogue caught up with the Spring Breakers star to talk about her upcoming projects (including her final Wizards of Waverly Place movie) and what's in store for her music career. Selena's hits have often bounced between pop-rock and dance, but this time she's going full on pop.
"I made a huge fun dance record that I'm so proud of," she says. "I got to record twenty or so great songs and work with a bunch of different producers and they're all really fun, pop songs;a little Ellie Goulding-ish, a little island-y feel. It's a really fun pop record."
Selena's new album is scheduled for an April release, shortly after her final appearace as Alex on the Disney Channel movie The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex.
"I'll release the single in April and then I'll tour this summer," she adds.
